After months of exclusive Xbox 360 gaming, we hooked the Nintendo Wii up to the new TV in the bedroom to test out Super Mario Galaxy. The wife in bed beside me, we started up the game and sat through what has become a tradition for me with new Mario games: wishing I could fast forward through cut-scenes and speed through dialog.

I get through the first series of challenges and save my first galaxy when the wife decides:

I’ll turn off this extra controller to save its batteries.

And she shut of the system. Before my game saved. I guess I’ll get to relive the magic AGAIN!
