New deals at PvPstuff.com today.

The limited number of PvP Striptease books I had in stock sold out pretty fast. Sorry if you were unable to get yourself one of the 40 copies I found. I’m sketching in them today and they should all ship out this weekend.

The PvP funpack had to be taken down from the store do to a limitation with Yahoo’s system. Since we’re shipping books internationally, all of our shipping rates HAVE to be based on weight. On top of that, Yahoo stores won’t let you turn off shipping charges for just one item. Our system works for every item in the store but the PvP funpack, where the shipping costs more than the item itself.

Because of this, the PvP funpack is now FREE with any purchase of $40 or more at the store. The fun pack has 2 PvP laser-cut keychains, two feed the troll stickers and 1 feed the troll fridge magnet.

Due to the success of our first book pack offer, I’m putting up another special book deal today. The PvP Alternate book-pack consists of PvP: The Dork Ages, Justin and Captain Amazing. All 3 books for just 30 bucks. It’s a good deal for some awesome books. So check it out.

Also, absolutely for FREE, is a desktop wallpaper of the Mobile Kringus Unit 1 (MKU1). Resize in your favorite image editor to your own liking.

When Tyler Martin started helping me implement Wordpress and Comicpress for the new PvP site, we had a long discussion about Webcomic archives and rethinking how to present them.

The truth is that for a new reader, facing 10 years worth of comics strips can be daunting. Where do you start? It’s not just enough to give a reader a list of every strip since 1998 and tell them to “go for it.” They need a guide. Thus the new reader page with links to important character developing arcs (which I’m still fleshing out).

Tyler had a brilliant idea to re-package the PvP archives and present a classic strip along side the new one, every day. So each day you can see a new PvP and also check out a PvP from years ago. It might be a strip you’ve seen before but forgot about. Maybe it’s a strip you’ve NEVER seen. It’s just another way to introduce readers to PvP strips they might have missed.

So please check out our new RePvP page for a trip down memory lane.

And if you have an idea of how to re-package or present large Webcomics archives in a more digestible way, discuss it in the Webcomics Weekly forum. We might discuss your idea on a future show.
