In May, Image comics and I will be releasing what’s sizing up to be a 48 page 10 year anniversary one shot book full of art and pin-ups from Comic book industry giants. I am blessed to have already received cover-art from the amazing Jeff Smith. Other industry phenoms who have agreed to donate art include:

Joe Michael Linsner, Rob Schrab, Mark Brooks and Jamie Mendoza, Cully Hamner, Terry Moore, Steve Hamaker, Brian Denham, Ryan Ottley, Erik Larsen, Mike Krahulik, Todd Dezago and Craig Rousseau, Jeff Parker, Jim Daly, and more.

Last night Mark Brooks and Brian Denham were encouraging me to aim high and ask everyone possible, no matter how crazy and impossible it seemed. “You never know who’s a fan.” Denham insisted, encouraging me to ask Rob Liefeld to do a pin up. Brooks also suggested that as a comic book creator who loves PvP, he would be afraid to ask ME to do a pin-up for fear I would say no and that’s why I should ask people proactively.

So I’m putting this out there publicly. I’ve met so many people in comics over the years that have been so kind to me and supportive of PvP. And it’s hard for me to believe that any of you would even WANT to do this. But if you would like to contribute anything for this 10 year special, and I haven’t asked you yet, please email me. Most likely, I’m embarrassed to ask and afraid of you saying no.

But now, after talking to Mark and Brian I’m terrified for the book to come out and have people wonder “Why didn’t he ask ME?” So I’m officially asking.
