It was my birthday this weekend, and I got enough emails and twitter messages from fans encouraging me to take the weekend off that I decided I would. This is the first time in years that I’ve not posted a strip or a filler guest strip on the weekends.

I want to thank those fans for my birthday gift. It was a great weekend.

My brother committed a sin against Halfpixel and bought me a pair of Oakley shades. Kris has given me permission to wear them as I look quite boss in them (Boss is a terms from the 80’s that means l33t). My wife bought me Apple TV and I can’t believe how awesome it is. It’s something I never would have bought for myself but once I hooked it up and synched it to my iTunes I was amazed at how well it worked. Lot’s of fun.

My Nephew took his first steps last night at my brother’s house chasing his dogs. I missed it because Kris, Brian and I were busy watching Ninja Warrior on his big-screen TV. But we caught his 2nd and 3rd attempts.

It was an awesome end to a perfect birthday.
