Wired Magazine made a blog post about our recent Ustream broadcasts.

“…a couple of the biggest names in webcomics have been taking this to the next level, broadcasting their artistic alchemy live. Mike “Gabe” Krahulik of Penny Arcade and Scott Kurtz of PvP are using Ustream to broadcast their desktops realtime as they go about drawing their comic. Kurtz also takes questions from fans.”

Mike and I talked the other day and compared notes. He mentioned offhand that he hoped I wasn’t upset that he was stealing my idea. I assured him the opposite was true. I hope that more cartoonists sign up for Ustream or other online streaming services and get into the act. We can learn a lot from watching each other work.
