« Previous | Next »Spore SkulllinkNotes from an Intern
June 20th, 2008
This is the first year that the boys at Halfpixel have taken on summer interns to help run our individual businesses during this busy season.
Both Dave and Kris’ interns have taken the time to write some really special posts about their experiences and how interning at Halfpixel as enriched their lives.
What many of you may not know, is that I have an intern of sorts myself. Angela’s youngest sister, Ashley (my sister-in-law) has been interning here at the Toonhound offices for a couple months now. I thought that in the spirit of solidarity I would offer Ashley an opportunity to make a post as well.
Take it away Ashley:

Scott told me I had to make a blog post because all the other Halfpixel interns had made some blog posts. Like I don’t have enough to do around here already, shipping orders, dealing with angry people, dealing with the stink coming out of the small bathroom in this small one room office because Scott took his third dump of the day.
Now I have to stop shipping orders because I have to reach for the stars or some silly [expletive] like that. I’m not getting college credit for this, I don’t get paid for this. I don’t get anything for this and I have to deal with Scott and his smelly feet and boring technology podcasts that he has to listen to while he works.
The only thing i’m reaching for in this office is a noose because I am sick of this horse[expletive]. So thanks to the happy go lucky Halfpixel “interns” for making me have to take time out of my glorious fun filled day to write a stupid ass blog post.
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!
Thanks Ashley. And remember kids. If you dream of interning for a cartoonist one day, don’t think it’s impossible. Miracles can happen. Just ask Ashley and the other Halfpixel interns. And keep reaching for the stars.
