I’ve spoken before about my buddy Gary Arndt. Over a year ago, Gary sold his house, packed up two bags with clothes and electronics and started traveling the world.
Gary has visited 37 countries and seen some amazing things. We’ve been encouraging him to start a video blog because when Gary starts talking, boring shit gets really interesting. One time, Gary was talking to me about the history of Singapore and I was enthralled. I’ve never been more interested in history, science, economics, or technology than I am when I get to sit in a bar with Gary and talk to him about it.
Well the good news is that Gary has started a video blog. He’s working out the audio kinks and getting more comfortable in front of the camera. I told him just to pretend he’s talking to me. His first was about the Sydney Opera House, which everyone has seen from far away. But do you have any idea what it looks like up close? It’s not as cool as you might think. My favorite so far is his most recent blog about Stromatolites.
Episode #3 – Stromatolites from Gary Arndt on Vimeo.
Please subscribe to Gary’s podcast via iTunes, and to the RSS feed for his blog. You won’t regret doing it.
