For those of you familiar with my buddy Gary and his world travels, we need your help. Gary is up for best travel blog in the 2008 Blogger’s Choice Awards and he really wants to win.

Last year, Gary sold his house and started a 2-3 year trip around the globe. He’s visited over 40 countries and territories so far and blogged about it all at Everything-Everywhere.com. So if you’re a fan of Gary’s blog, please take a moment to throw him a vote. Winning the best travel blog would go a long way for him.

If you’re not familiar with Gary’s website, check it out. He’s getting to do what we all wish we could do.

The wife and I have returned from our trip to Savannah, Georgia and our tour/lecture at the Savannah College of Art and Design. I really want to do a big write-up of our visit, but I’m so exhausted right now that all I want to really do is take a nap.

But before I nap, I just had to thank Jeremy “Sweetwater” Mullins, David Allen Duncan, Ray Goto, Dove McHargue, John Lowe, Julie Collins the staff and Magnolia House and all the students we got to meet this weekend. It was unreal how welcome you made us feel and what an honor it was to talk to you.

SCAD has an amazing sequential art program. It was inspiring to see what they’re teaching kids there, and it was a real honor to contribute to that. And for everyone who enjoys Webcomcis Weekly, you HAVE to subscribe to the sequential department’s podcast SEQALAB. It’s hilarious fun and you’ll learn a lot about comics and sequential art in the process.

Thanks again SCAD!
