If you’ve ever ordered something from the PvP store, you might have been happy with your item, but you were probably appalled by the service. That’s because it’s just me, and Ashley, trying desperately to keep up with a store that was scaling faster than we could pick and pack.

As of today that all ends. We’ve just partnered with Amplifier.com to provide a number of fullfillment services for PvPstuff.com.

Before I go into the new stuff, a word about the old stuff. All outstanding orders, minus the Scratch Maquettes, will be shipped out this week. If you are waiting on a tee shirt from our clearance sale, we’re packing it now and it will go out in the mail this week. We just dropped four mail bins off this afternoon and we’ll knock the rest out this week.

Scratch Maquettes are scheduled to arrive from China at the end of the month and I will ship them out to you guys immediately after receiving them. I have my family on call waiting to come assist in that final project for our self-maintained store.

However, if you order something from TODAY on out you won’t have to worry about service. Amplifier is providing first and foremost, excellent STAFFED pick and pack service. All of the inventory we’re currently offering in the store is at their warehouse, and a team of shipping pros are waiting to stuff your order into an envelope and mail it out to you. Most orders ship one or two business days after you place the order. Some on the same day.

No more bad service. I’ve hired professionals to help.

If that wasn’t exciting enough, Amplifier is also providing us with print-on-demand product. What this means for us is that we can have literally anything printed, on demand, without inventory or overhead, and mailed to you.

You’ll notice that under today’s strip there is a BUY A PRINT OF THIS COMIC STRIP button. I’ve added those buttons to strips as far back as veteran’s day. Moving forward, there will be a BUY A PRINT button under the strip every day. Now, if you want to put a PvP strip up in your office or room, you don’t have to print out a low res web-version. You can get an 11×17 high-quality print.

Now, I obviously am not going to go back and add a button for every strip in our archive (I don’t even have hi-res art for a lot of the older ones). But that doesn’t mean I can’t get you the strip you want. So if there is a strip you REALLY want printed out, email me about it and I can get a button up for you if the art exists. It costs me nothing to give you the opportunity to print out any strip or piece of artwork, so don’t be afraid to ask. It’s literally okay if we print JUST ONE for only you.

If you visit the print section of the PvP store, you’ll find a couple sections of interest. I’ve added hard-links to the store of some of the wedding strips, as well as some PvP cover art and all the Lolbat strips. I can add any art to the store that you guys fancy. So suggest away.

We currently only have two shirts in the PvP store right now, both are new designs. One is our Abbey Road art made into our first white tee since our Cafepress days. The other is a re-art of the classic “I beat Tetris” shirt.

I’ll be adding more stuff to the store in the following months so stay tuned. And also, please let me know if anything is broken or not working properly.

Some details about the new prints:

They are high definition prints on thick stock ultra white paper. The single strip measures 7×18 and a double strip measures 12×18. Each print has a nice white border around it and is suitable to matting and framing.

The prints are really crisp. My high-res art is saved at 400dpi and we print these at 250. I was kind of a bitch about not doing this unless my line-work came out looking nice and sharp. Amplifier did not dissapoint.

Here is a pic of some double strips Amplifier made for me while I was visiting their Austin offices last week.
