Cole: Okay people, let’s get started. We got a long week ahead of us so I don’t want this week’s staff meeting to drag on too long. First let’s check the minutes from last week’s meeting. Brent?

Brent: Okay, our readers are still pretty pissed off about the fact the the Scratch Fury maquettes they ordered LAST YEAR still aren’t here yet.

Cole: It hasn’t been a year.

Brent: It was last year, dude.

Jade: I’ve been talking with Helen Chin, who’s handling customs for us. She’s our customs broker. The shipment is in Long Beach and should be here in Dallas by the 28th.

Cole: Perfect. So Francis, if you could please make a post on the website informing everyone that the maquettes will be shipped out IMMEDIATELY after we receive them, please. Do that first thing.

Francis: ‘Kay.

Cole: And for the next statue, let’s not do pre-orders so early. I think it’s safe to assume we can order 500 of these and they’ll sell. So let’s make our next order accordingly and make sure we have them on the ground in the states before we put them on sale.

Jade: What’s the next maquette going to be? Did we decide?

Cole: I thought we were doing Skull as a spaceman. With the ray gun and goggles.

Skull: A-HEM!

Brent: We’re still in negotiations for likeness rights on that apparently.

Skull: I’m standing firm on my last offer. It’s a deal breaker.

Cole: Fine. We’ll throw in the bag of M&Ms.

Skull: PEANUT M&Ms???

Cole: *sigh* Agreed.

Skull: I’m sorry it had to get so nasty there at the end.

Cole: Next order of business: The New York Comicon. Are we attending this or what?

Brent I’m not going. New York scares the hell out of me. Between the pimps and the C.H.U.D.S. it’s way too dangerous. You guys have fun.

Cole: Do we even have booth space lined up?

Jade: We’re sharing a booth with the Penny-Arcade guys. I think we’re in the NE corner of their island booth. Booth number 1365. And we’re doing a panel.

Francis: Those guys are assholes.

Cole: Francis, please. Which panel, Jade?

Jade: Uh…The business of Webcomics with Robert Khoo. Friday. Panel Room 10, 3:15-4:15 PM. Cole you’re doing that one.

Cole: Okay. Cool. I like Robert.

Jade: I’ll be there. Robert’s really cute.

Brent: I’ve changed my mind. I’m going to NYCC.

Jade: We’re married, sweetie. I’m not going anywhere.

Brent: Oh I trust you. I just don’t trust HIM. He’s a shark.

Jade: I’LL say.

Brent: Right! I’m gonna go book my tickets.
