When I was first offered the opportunity to record a podcast for Wizards of the Coast, demonstrating the 4th edition of D&D with my buddies at Penny-Arcade, I told my wife that I had finally achieved nerd nirvana and could die happy right then and there.

It’s a good thing I didn’t die, because WoTC offered us the opportunity to record a 2nd podcast, and this time they’ve upped the ante by creating a custom adventure just for us and inviting Wil Wheaton to join us at the gaming table. Wil is playing an Avenger, a new class featured in the Player’s Handbook 2. The PHB2 will be in stores next month, so this is your chance to hear a bit about the new class.

Each podcast is accompanied by a piece of art by either Gabe or myself, so be sure to check them out. It’s a great into to the 4th edition of D&D and if you’ve never played before I highly encourage you to listen and see just how fun and easy it is to start your own group.
