Just wanted to let everyone know that I’ve started a PvP email newsletter that you can subscribe to. Many of you follow my Twitter feed and subscribe to our RSS feed, but I’m still getting asked by people if there’s a way our more important announcements and news can hit their inbox instead.

It makes sense. You can miss a twitter update or forget to check the RSS feed. An email newsletter sits in your inbox waiting for you until you’re ready to read it.

So I did some research, and set up an email newsletter with a reliable service. You can subscribe to it right here on the site. Your email will be kept private and confidential and will never be given out. We only use your email to send you the PvP newsletter.

Remember the book (or movies) “Of Mice and Men” where Lenny keeps killing things by petting them too hard? I just did that with Karl Kerschl’s site. Linking to Karl today has maxxed his bandwidth for the month, or overpushed his cpu clocks, or tripped his MySQL nacelles, or whatever, and now he’s without a working website.

This is a great opportunity for any PvP readers who either work at a webhost or have some pull at one to make Karl and offer for some bad ass hosting package that can scale up a bit. Clearly the guy has talent and is going places. He’s might be in need of some hosting love that’s a step above what $9.95 at dreamhost can provide.
