Last night I sat down and re-read a book I co-authored with two buddies called Truth, Justin and the American way.

Damn I am so proud of this book. I really am upset that it didn’t get the attention I always felt it deserved. Right now it’s really popular for comic book companies to license old 80’s properties and we wanted to make up our own in the spirit of the shows we grew up watching. Justin really is a love-letter from all three of us to the Glen Larsens and Steven J. Cannalls of our youth.

The book is gorgeous. Full color, vibrant. Giuseppe’s art is so light and fun it just leaps at you. Aaron’s dialog is so clean and funny that I was laughing out loud despite the fact that I helped write it.

I know I’m praising a project I worked on, and my opinion is biased. But I always feel like Justin is my one kid who never really shined as much as his older brother PvP and I think that’s a disservice to all the work that went into it. It’s such a genuinely fun book and in a lot of ways I think it’s better than PvP. If you like PvP it’s really worth giving Justin a chance.

I just wanted to encourage everyone to give my other child a second look. It’s available in our store and if you order it today I can guarantee you that Amplifier will have it on your doorstep by next week.
