The con is over, we’re at the hotel about to lay down our heads for a well earned rest. Tomorrow we return home triumphant, knowing we kicked Comicon 2009’s ass. Hands down we beat this con into submission. The wives saw all the major panels, Brian and I kicked sales into the highest gear and burned rubber.
I’ll post a larger recap later in the week, but I just wanted to leave you with two memories that perfectly encapsulate this year’s con for me. First is this pic.

Brian and I ran the gauntlet this week. From Preview night to the close of sales on Sunday. He was my co-pilot in commerce. It was an amazing experience with my little brother. I was very proud of how effective he was at pushing product, interacting with readers and engaging in industry social life after the con floor closed. We did it, brother. You’re the man.
The second memory is a youtube video of my bro and Kevin McShane and it sums up this week perfectly:
‘Nuff said, Kevin. ‘Nuff said.
