This is our third run on the plushes since we introduced them in 2004 and I refuse to revise their design even a little. There is something about these little blue huggable things that draw people into our booth every convention. Even people unfamiliar with the strip walk up and ask who he is. We’re very lucky to have such a charmed little guy helping us spread the word about our comic strip.

As a child that grew up on the book “The Velveteen Rabbit”, I can’t help but imagine all those boxes full of Skull plushies sitting in a hot Austin, Texas warehouse, wishing they were real. I would ask the people at Amplifier to at least hug the boxes once per day, but those guys are heartless shipping monsters hell-bent on only one thing: customer service.
