It looks like I’m Seattle bound again as I have business to attend to at the Penny-Arcade Expo. Let’s go over the details, shall we?
First of all, Kstraub and I will be set up at a booth in the south lobby on the fourth floor. That’s as specific as I can get. PAX was kind enough to give me a base of operations for when I’m not out performing the satellite tasks I’ve been assigned. Kris will be there too selling Starslip and Chainsawsuit books. Find us!
Meanwhile, I got some other fun stuff to do. Check THIS out.
Friday night at 7:00pm in the Unicorn Theatre, I have my OWN panel. It’s called “An Evening with Scott Kurtz” and I’ll be talking about webcomics, telling stories about how I met the Penny-Arcade guys, and finally revealing the truth behind our both real and fake rivalries over the years. Plus we’ll have a Q&A session. Should be fun.
All weekend long, I’ll be doing live demonstrations of Nintendo’s new DSi game Flipnote Studio. Flipnote is an easy to use animation application that you can download to your DSi and make your own cartoons. It’s a crap-ton of fun. You can catch me at the Nintendo Flipnote kiosk at the following times:
Friday:
12:00pm-1pm
Saturday:
11am-12pm
Sunday:
11am-12pm
3pm-4pm
And finally, Saturday from 2:30-3:30 in the Raven Theatre, I’ll be on the City of Heroes panel talking about their Mission Architecht guest author’s program. Looks like the LOLBAT might be coming to the streets of Paragon City soon. Come hear all about it.
PAX is going to be insane this year. I’m looking forward to seeing you all there.
