Poor Ramón. Earlier in the week he emailed to ask me a simple question and I used it as an excuse to rope him into a guest comic. I did my best virtual cough to make him feel guilty and he took the bait. But look at the results. Probably the sharpest guest strip I’ve ever had the honor of posting.

Ramón’s work is nothing short of amazing. If you haven’t seen Kukuburi yet, you need to leave this ham-hocked webcomic right now and check it out. These guys at Transmission X are making us all look like pousers.

Thanks to everyone who submitted guest strips. I got a lot I couldn’t publish and I’ll be putting them up on the facebook fanpage once I figure out how to do that (I’ll ask Gary for help).

So a lot of people are asking me if the Hopscotch app that Brent is using in our current storyline is real. No it is not. Hopscotch is a fictional parody of apps like Foursquare and Gowalla. Specifically though it’s a parody of how checking into a certain location multiple times with Foursquare elects you that location’s mayor.

Yes. I am the mayor of my local Starbucks. Yes I told the Baristas. And yes, they do call me “your honor.”

Before you find me on foursquare, let me warn you in advance I’ll probably ignore your friend request. I’m new to foursquare and adding a bunch of readers to my friends list is going to make things more confusing for this luddite. But maybe once I get the hang of it, I’ll make a PvP account. Or one for Brent. And we can all be buddies. I’ll keep you posted.
