This strip begins a new story-arc created during the 24 Hour Comic Challenge.

My concept for the marathon was some Halloween-themed-spooky-strips for the month of October. And despite this being the first strip in the series, it was the last strip I drew before collapsing in bed. It wasn’t until almost 7am, after 19 hours of straight cartooning, that we decided to create a crypt-keeper-like-bogey-man to introduce and bookmark the arc.

And thus, at 6:45 am, inspired by the chat-room and sleep-deprivation, the Bone Burglar was born.

For the record, this gaming table that’s been in the strip this week, the Emissary…it’s real.

Check out Geek Chic HQ. They make hand crafted gaming furniture that you will covet. COVET! I know a lot of people drool over the tables, but I want the The Alexandria Codex pretty badly.

I think it would look pretty bad ass in my new Seattle office.
