While Lethal Weapon is the most notorious use of this movie cliché [I'm getting too old for this shit], the first appearance of this line in a cop movie was in “Hunter” with Steve McQueen and then later in To Live and Die in LA, both proceeding the Lethal
Weapon franchise.
