— January 26th, 2010

I’m gearing up for my first set of public appearances in 2010 and our first stop is going to be a memorable one.

On Thursday, February 11th I’ll be giving a presentation at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Franciso, California from 7:00pm – 9:00pm. I’ll be talking about defining what Webcomics are and why we’re lacking a better term for the moves we want to make in 2010 and beyond.

Then on Friday, Feburary 12th, I’ll be appearing on the Macworld Expo mainstage from 12:45pm-1:15pm with Andy Ihnatko. Andy will be interviewing me about Webcomics and what digital distribution means for independent creators.

Finally, I’ll be spending Saturday, February 13th at the Charles M. Schulz Museum. From 10:00-11:30am I’ll be teaching a Master Class for Adults: Designing Webcomics at the museum. For details on attending the master class, please call 707-284-1263.

After lunch, from 1-3pm, I’ll be a guest at the museum as a Cartoonist in Residence. I’ll be giving a presentation in the main auditorium about Webcomics and our responsibility to carry on the legacy of Charles Schulz. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A and book signing.

Being a guest at the museum is an incredible honor for me and I hope that as many of you as possible can join me for it. The presentation is open to the public so if you can make it out it would be amazing to see you there.

As an added bonus, my father is retired now, and will be traveling with me the entire trip. We’ll have to set up a mini Q&A with him as well. I’ll expect at least one of you to have an awesome question for him. heh.
