Just wanted to take moment to mention Star Pirates. They’ve been one of our advertisers this month and I wanted to specifically point out that they’re one of our advertisers that we work with personally (as opposed to some of the Google ads you might see here on a day to day basis).

The guy behind Star Pirates is a big fan of the Webcomics community. He’s worked with a lot of us, including Kris. I’ve yet to check out Star Pirates myself, but I know Kris thinks it’s pretty rad and I also hear that there is a PvP fan faction inside the game called the Panda’s Claws looking for more friends.

Star Pirates is free to play. It’s a browser game, kind of like a facebook game without needing to give away all your privacy to facebook. There’s a huge community surrounding Star Pirates. I hear from a lot of PvP readers who just leave it running in the background while working or playing something else, checking in every few hours to pirate it up.

Anyway, I just wanted to mention it since they’re friends of the site and work really hard to make their game cool for fans of webcomics.
