This year I’ll be attending the New York City Comicon with my buddy Brad Guigar. And this year we wanted to do something really hands on rather than just repeat the webcomics panel we seem to do at every show. So we talked with the great guys and gals running the show and asked if we could offer a really hands on seminar during the con. And guess what? They thought it was a great idea.

So this year Brad and I will be hosting the first of what will hopefully be an annual Webcomics Bootcamp at the New York City Comicon.

The seminar will be held on Sunday, Oct 10 during the final day of the show. The cost for the bootcamp is $50 (unless you’re a webcomics.com member, and then it’s $30). This is a limited-attendance seminar. Students will be asked to bring examples of their work for critique, and should be prepared to take and offer constructive criticism in the hopes of bettering each others work.

To sign up for the bootcamp, please visit our link here. Space is limited so if you want to make sure you have a slot for this year, sign up now. Don’t wait until a week out from the show. We want to be able to spend a good amount of time with each student.

I’m super-excited about this and I’m looking forward to seeing you guys at the show and sharing more details about my appearance there soon.
