Did you know that I used to do a podcast about making comics and being an independent creator? It’s true. The podcast was called Webcomics Weekly.

We’ve been on indefinite hiatus for a while. Everyone involved got busy, had kids, etc…

But we’re back now. And you can listen to us again. Here’s our newest episode.

Dear, sweet readers,

I can see a light at the end of this six month long tunnel that my wife and I had to travel through before we could move out of Dallas, and be reunited in the Pacific Northwest.

Since May, I’ve been living in Seattle separated from my wife while she remained in Dallas to get the house ready to show and hopefully sell.

And it looks like she’ll be joining me right after the Thanksgiving weekend. My dogs are flying to me this weekend and I’m moving from my temporary 1 bedroom apartment and into a new place where my wife and I will spend our first year in Seattle together.

Once this is done, and we’ve jumped this hurdle, my life is going to settle down a bit. No more travel until spring of 2011 and nothing to do but put my head down and work, knowing my wife and pups are right here by my side.

So thank you, my dear, sweet, readers, for suffering through my less than reliable schedule as of late. 2011 is going to be an amazing year and my life as a cartoonist is going to be turning some important corners.

PvP, The Trenches, and the Blamimations with Kris and Scott are important tent-poles of content around which I hope to wrap an amazing online experience for you guys. Working out of Penny Arcade these last six months has taught me so much. It’s time to start putting it to use. To stop being halfway between one place and another and start my new life as a Seattle based creator.

You may not see Friday’s strip until tonight or early tomorrow. Thanks again for taking this journey with us. I can’t tell you how supportive all of my readers have been about this move. It’s been a huge help.
