Last week, my brother-in-arms Brad “laughtrack” Guigar was kind enough to kick off a week of guest strips for me with this wonderful LOLbat comic strip

Currently, Brad is auctioning off the original artwork for this strip with my blessing on ebay. It’s going cheap right now so if your’e interested, now is the time to get in your bid. The auction ends Friday.

I suggested this after reading Brad’s “More s**** than fan” post in which we learn that having installed a new air conditioner in the family car, fixed a flat tire (twice) and fixed a leak (once), Brad just woke up to a puddle under the hot water heater. So he’s generating some extra funds to help ease what is shaping up to be a pretty frustrating month.

Let me sweeten the pot here by offering a signed artist edition copy of the Best of PvP to the winning bidder of this piece. Brad’s originals are really cool to own. As someone who has his own Guigar originals, I can attest. First of all, Brad’s ink-work is amazing to look at up close. The web’s native 72dpi does not compliment it at all. And Brad prints out all the dialoge on a piece of acetate that he lovingly tapes over the art. So it’s really a cool collectors piece to be sure.

Anyway, here’s your chance to own a pretty unique piece of Guigar art. Complete with a little extra value from me. And it’ll help take some of the sting that the universe just gave Brad with that kick to the shins.

In the comic book industry we call that a win-win.
