In the history of PvP, I don’t think I’ve ever had such a positive response to the introduction of a new character. I can’t thank you all enough for the kind words about Val. I’ve been working on her for a while now behind the scenes. I even spent the good part of a post-con season retreat just working out the final kinks in her design.

You’re going to be seeing a lot more of Val in the future, no spoilers there. I hope that you guys enjoy the stories I plan to tell with her.

To thank you all for all of your kind words, I whipped up a desktop wallpaper featuring Val that I can “Hammer Time.” Resize as needed and enjoy.

Remember when I mentioned a couple weeks ago that I was doing something for Spy Battle? Well I did it. It’s done. And you can check it out here.

What is Spy Battle? It’s a free online game from the makers of Star Pirates. It’s the year: 2165. Overpopulation is crushing the Earth.
Rival factions spy, raid, steal and fight for survival! Join them.

Spy Battle has a very strong community of PvP readers and just helpful players in general. Snakehead games alerted their community to the chance of new people joining this week and there are members of the Spy Battle online community ready to help new players. It’s that kind of group. You should for sure check out the game. Hey, it’s free. You literally have nothing to lose.

BACK IN STOCK!

In 2007, proto-comedy-legends Kris Straub and Scott Kurtz joined forces with Blind Ferret Entertainment to animate 12 webisodes of a PvP animated series. Written by Kris and Scott and animated by a team of Canada’s best, the series ran online for a year and was eventually compiled onto an amazing 1 disk DVD

And now we’re opening the vault to bring you this amazing artifact that contains all twelve episode (including the amazing 2 part PvP christmas special) and some crucial DVD extras like:

- Audio commentaries by Mister Straub and myself.
- ‘Magic Hands’ production video blogs.
- ‘Acting with Dino’, the voice of Skull the Troll mini-documentary.

The series was subscription based and only seen by a select few. And supplies of these DVDs are limited. Grab this piece of PvP history while you have a chance.
