I’m incredibly excited about the new direction Halfpixel.com is taking these days. More and more, Halfpixel is about losing yourself in the excitement of making comics and channeling that excitement into productive creativity. It feels good to have abandoned the ways of drama. It feels good to have that stuff behind me.
The How to Make Webcomics book, and the sister podcast Webcomics Weekly are projects to be proud of. I’m excited for you to see the new book and ecstatic at the response we’re getting to the podcast. In the spirit of continuing all of these good feelings, I’ve created a new (hopefully) weekly podcast called Webcomics Confidential.
Webcomics Confidential is the online comics version of Inside the Actors Studio. It’s a one on one interview with myself and a mover and shaker from the world of webcomics. Our first guest on the show is Tyler Martin. We talk a little about his cartooning past, his all ages work with Lunchbox funnies and Wally and Osborne and his obsession with making live easier for all of us with his Comicpress theme for Wordpress.
